J. Eric Story – Vice President and Treasurer
Eric Story is Vice President and Treasurer for Imperial Sugar Company, with more than two decades experience in the sugar industry. He oversees bank relations, funds management, accounting, budgeting and forecasting. Story ensures the company has the proper capital structure and adequate liquidity to move forward and execute on its long-term strategy.
Story’s 20-plus years at Imperial Sugar encompass a number of finance and accounting roles. He has an intimate knowledge of its facilities and processes across most functions of the business. This gives him considerable insight into maintaining the company’s financial discipline and improving efficiencies in Imperial Sugar’s main factory operations.
A member of the company’s commodity risk management committee, Story holds a bachelor’s of business administration in accounting from the University of Georgia and is a certified public accountant.
