Kevin Jeffries: Safety is a Core Corporate Value

Kevin Jeffries is Imperial Sugar’s manager of corporate safety systems.

Kevin Jeffries is uncompromising in his belief that workplace safety must be a core value of any corporation’s culture. He also sees views the environmental safety challenges of everyday business only as opportunities, not as problems.

Jeffries is Imperial Sugar’s manager of corporate safety systems at the company’s large sugar refineries at Gramercy, Louisiana, and Port Wentworth, Georgia, continuing to underscore the company’s emphasis and commitment to safety in the workplace, for employees and safety in food production.

It’s his job to identify and create safety systems to protect workers and sustain government compliance regulations and standards.

He joined Imperial Sugar’s senior level safety leadership team recently after 15 years of occupational safety experience at Fuji and McGraw-Hill.
