Snack foods containing healthier ingredients are headed for college dorms. “The Local,” a blog associated with The New York Times, details tasty snack alternative — familiar tastes with healthier ingredients — including “superfoods” such as greens and chia, a tiny, edible seed rich in Omega-3 fatty acids, antioxidants and fiber; and sweetened with agave nectar, honey or stevia.
