Brazil’s Sugar Cane Output Declines

Sugar cane output in Brazil is declining after rains in parts of the Center South, the world’s biggest producing region, were at their most severe in six decades this month, reports Bloomberg.
The latest showers in the Center South, which makes more than 80 percent of Brazil’s sugar, follow a dry spell in the first half of August, when grower were able to accelerate harvesting.
