Legacy Park Now Completed

The “Hands of God” now sit in the middle of Legacy Park. As do the spirits of the fourteen who lost their lives in the explosion. They are forever memorialized as doves, flying towards heaven, reports Melanie Ruberti of WTOC TV News:

Imperial Sugar Human Resources Director, Ginger Faulconer, walks to the park often. She counts the doves each time she comes, just to make sure they’re all there. “You come here and you remember,” she said. “We’re at the point where we are moving forward, but we’re never going to forget to look back on what we lost.”
